historic county town of Monmouth, the market town of Abergavenny
and the Brecon Beacons beyond, reached from the junction of
the A40/449 1/2 a mile away and 1/4 of an hour takes you to
junction 24 M4 or north towards the M50, M5/6.
The Beaufort is central to all the delights of the picturesque
Wye Valley, the Vale of Usk and the many castles of the area.
Activities abound, ballooning, canoeing, shooting, cycling,
riding, and fishing, to name but a few, and in particular walking
Offa's Dyke and Castle walks. 12 golf courses are in the vicinity
including 'Raglan Parc' in the village and Celtic Manor, home
to the 2010 'Ryder Cup', is only 15 minutes away.
