Private Dining
Intimate Sophistication
Adjacent to the main Brasserie is a private dining and meeting room. This intimate panelled, air conditioned room is the ideal place for a small private party for up to 26 guests, for a business meeting, family celebration or a group of friends eating together.
The room can be extended to seat 40 and is particularly used for small wedding breakfasts, where guests enjoy the quality of the Beaufort food and presentation combined with the friendly, professional approach befitting the occasion.
The Lounge Bar
Is in the original part of the Inn, boasting a large stone inglenooke fireplace believed to have originally been in the castle itself. This together with the heavy beams, slate floors and unique carved bar proves a most popular meeting place for lunch and evening meals. The deep leather sofas and contemporary whicker armchairs makes for a place to congregate for morning coffees afternoon teas or even enjoy a glass of wine.
The Country Bar
A Relaxed Atmosphere
The Country Bar is where locals and visitors meet – an intimate room resplendent with cased fish and hunting trophies. Some just meet to have coffee and do the crossword or simply read the provided newspapers.
Holding the CAMRA (Campaign for real ale) quality standard, there is a full selection of real ales, a regular changing guest ale as well as continental lagers and local ciders and depending upon the season mulled wine or Pimms may be the order of the day.
Reservations - We strongly recommend you make a reservation for the Brasserie. The lounge bar acts on a more informal basis, though for groups of 8 or more we suggest reserving for the Brasserie especially at weekends if you wish to eat at a pre-arranged time. Always let us know if you have any special dietary requirements or mobility restrictions.
Al Fresco Dining
Al Fresco dining is available for many months of the year on the Southfacing terrace with its rural views or on the ‘sun-trap’ patio at the front of the hotel.
